Job Description

Job Title: Accounting Clerk
Department: Internal Accounting Department
Reports To: Internal Accounting Manager

Job Summary


Accountant/Bookkeeper for Busy Manufacturing Company needed immediately! This is a full time position for a company located in Toronto

Job Description:
• Complete responsibility for Accounts Receivable function, may include customer billing
• Complete responsibility for Accounts Payable function, including matching vendor invoices to PO's, issuing checks etc.
• Will work directly with purchasing department
• Payroll Processing
• Reconcile Bank Statements
• Sales & Use Tax returns
• Journal Entries and Month End Closes
• Prepare and analyze account reconciliations
• Assist in providing follow up and documentation of significant variances
• Assist with Cash Planning and Management
• Other projects as assigned

Requirements:
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
• Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Be able to multitask as necessary
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Accounts Payable and Receivable experience.
• 3+ years bookkeeping experience

Compensation: Negotiable
