Job Description
Our client is currently in need of an QA Tester to join their team of IT Professionals. This is a contract duration of 6 months and will pay a maximum of $40-45/hr based on experience.If you are interested please forward your resume to erik.m.page@gmail.com
Job Description:
- Conducts Quality Assurance activities on products.
- Writes test cases and test scripts for tracking defects and fixes.
- Responsible for conducting Functional, Integration, Regression testing.
- Tests software defect fixes and new functionality and reviews test summary reports and makes recommendations.
- Manages testing schedule.
- Assists with analysis and verification of software defects reported to determine validity and clarification.
- Performing scenario-based testing from the perspective of various client roles.
- Analyzes and documents test results and makes recommendations.
- Creates and maintains quality system documents and records e.g. test plans, test cases, reports, templates, spreadsheets, presentations.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of QA experience in testing
- Experience with SQL Database and SQL Queries.
- ISTQB Foundation Level Certification.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
- Experience with issue-tracking software and with testing database-driven applications.
Education:
- Degree/diploma in computer science or information systems, or equivalent experience.
Compensation: $40-45/hr based on experience
